My deep joy is working with kids! I'm blessed to be the oldest of four siblings and the eldest of twenty-seven first cousins; I've spent my life surrounded by kids, often tending and teaching them. While working as a respite care provider for kids with Autism, I discovered a particular gift for connecting with children labeled “special needs” and helping them and their families uncover their often overlooked wisdoms and gifts. One of my greatest joys in life is being with children of all ages and abilities, both in and out of the treatment room.
In addition to working with kids, I began experiencing chronic pain at a young age and spent 17 years searching for healing in various medical and alternative modalities. I have an intimate understanding of what it means to bear chronic pain and also create my own healing.
